應徵條件
- 擁有見證並具電腦技能的配稱教會成員
- 平均每天有4小時可查閱資料、沉思和翻譯
- 提供個人中文履歷和自傳各一頁給翻譯部 tsaina@ChurchofJesusChrist.org
- 應試並認識翻譯的流程共約3小時
- 錄取後教會合約部會透過電郵進行簽約
- 合適者每年續約一次
應徵時間
收件：每年12 月（中文履歷和自傳各一頁）
應試：每年1月（金華街教堂四樓翻譯部）
注意事項
- 在國外就讀的學生不符應徵資格
- 尚未開放給居住在中國大陸的成員
- 可翻譯的時間低於一年者不適應徵
- 翻譯的語言是英文到中文
筆譯目標
1. Faithfulness 2. Clarity 3. Mechanics
1. 信於英文 Faithfulness
Translators must use all his powers and resources to carefully study each source language including the words, the grammar, figures of speech, and the overall organization of the text.
2. 達於中文 Clarity
The translation should never be a word-for-word translation, instead, should have a naturalness of language style and usage.
3. 雅於文法 Mechanics
Small things, as poor grammar, spelling errors, incomplete sentences, missing words, tags, capitalization, and punctuation are the examples of mechanics, can distract the reader from the intended message.
